 Bennu of the Golden Light - Vanguard
from an alien civilization who was scouting potential colonization
sites for his dying planet on the short-lived sci-fi series THE
PHOENIX/ABC/1982 (originally aired as a made for TV movie on April
26, 1981) Bennu (Judson Earney Scott) landed on Earth
1500 years ago in the pre-Inca days and was entombed in the
Peruvian Andes Mountains. When 20th century scientists revived him, he went in
search of a fellow space traveler, Mira who likewise had been
entombed.

His only weapon on this planet was an amulet with the
image of a Phoenix encased in a triangle. When he concentrated on
the amulet, it produced amazing powers of life and death.
Government agents lead by Preminger (Richard Lynch) hoped to
capture Bennu's amulet for their own use.
