BONES/FOX/2005+ Emily Deschanel
plays Temperance Brennan, a headstrong forensic anthropologist and
part-time crime novelist based in the Washington DC area. Because
Temperance works with skeletal remains, she earned the unwanted
nickname "Bones" which she hates ("Don't call me Bones!"). She also
dislikes being called "Squints" - a moniker given to brainy
researchers (science geeks) by the FBI Agents. whom Temperance
