Skip Tarkenton - Set in a small, rundown animation studio in Hollywood, the sitcom DUCK FACTORY/NBC/1984 featured the animated cartoon character "Dippy Duck" and the staff of zany artists who produced this fictional television cartoon show. Don Messick, a veteran voice-over expert in real life, played the role of Wally Wooster, the man behind the voice of Dippy Duck. The series focused on the relationship of the young and talented newcomer to the animation business, Skip Tarkenton (Jim Carrey), and the veteran nearly burned out cartoonist, Brooks Carmichael (Jack Gilford) as they worked on the Dippy Duck strip which was always threatened with cancellation by the network.
