Skip Tarkenton -
Young and talented newcomer

small, rundown animation studio in Hollywood on
the sitcom DUCK FACTORY/NBC/1984. The series
featured the Saturday morning crimefighting cartoon character "Dippy
Duck" who battled such enemies as
Irving the Terrible and Rotten Renaldo.

focused on the relationship of Skip Tarkenton
and the veteran nearly burned out cartoonist,
Brooks Carmichael (Jack Gilford) as they worked
on the Dippy Duck strip (for
Buddy Winkler Production)
which was always threatened with
cancellation by the network.
Don Messick, a veteran voice-over expert in
real life, played the role of Wally Wooster, the
man behind the voice of Dippy Duck.
