October Eve -  On episode No. 90 "October Eve" on the sitcom THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW/CBS/1961-66, a nude painting of Laura Petrie (Mary Tyler Moore) entitled "October Eve" surfaces at an art exhibit.

Although she posed fully clothed, the artist took the liberty of undressing her for his finished work. Embarrassed that her husband and friends might discover the painting, Laura pleads with the artist to remove the painting from the exhibit.

TRIVIA NOTE: Years later the sitcom MARRIED...WITH CHILDREN/FOX/1987-97 has a similar plotline on episode No. 171 "Honey, I Blew Up Myself" when Peggy Bundy (Katey Sagal) had a sexy photograph of herself in lingerie taken for her husband's birthday.

Unfortunately, the photographer enlarged the photo as an ad promotion for his studio and hung it for all the world to see in the local Mall right outside of Al's workplace.

Jealous (or repulsed) at the picture, Al vowed to get the picture removed and enlisted the aid of a feminist group known as "FANG" (Feminists Against Neanderthal Guys) to eliminate the offending image.
