Cher - The popular singer Cher from THE SONNY AND CHER COMEDY HOUR/CBS/1971-77 had a number of plastic surgery alterations to her slender figure over the years (She admitted publicly to these changes in 1999) Her most expressive additions were tattoos including flowers on her butt and left ankle and a necklace chain sporting a few medallion like trinkets on her upper left arm. On the October 31, 1991 installment of LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, Cher discussed the controversy of a sizzling full‑page newspaper photo ad from The Press displaying Cher's backside with her butt clad in fishnet stockings and a thong. The ad headline read "Cher's Back" (referring to her six-night gig at the Sands Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City). When the ad ran, the tattoo on her behind was originally censored with a black block. Geraldo Rivera - Syndicated talk show host Geraldo Rivera wears a tattoo of the Star of David on his left hand between his thumb and his forefinger. He got the tattoo when he was in his late teens. Since he looks more Puerto Rican than Jewish (he's half and half), the tattoo was a way of celebrating his Mideastern heritage. He later discovered that tattoos were against Rabbinical Law (Leviticus 19:28).     

Pamela Lee Anderson - The blonde beauty, Pamela Lee Anderson, featured on the syndicated series BAYWATCH, had a number of tattoos on her bodacious body. The name "Tommy" (her then husband, rock musician Tommy Lee) encircled her finger beneath her wedding ring. She also had a tattoo of a mermaid on her left ankle and a tattooed image of jagged barbed wire encircled her upper left arm. This was a souvenir from her role as an ass-kicking heroine in the action adventure movie Barb Wire (1996). 

Robert Clary - Actor Robert Clary is best known for his role at Le Beau, a French soldier imprisoned in a WWII German concentration camp on the sitcom HOGAN'S HEROES/CBS In reality, Robert Clary was a resident of such real concentration camps as Ottmuth, Blechhamer, Gross-Rosen and Buchwald. While interred he was given an identification tattoo on his upper left forearm that reads: A-5714. 

Roseanne Barr - When Roseanne Arnold divorced and became plain Roseanne Barr she had the tattoo "Property of Tom Arnold" removed on August 6, 1994 while surrounded by a small group of friends. She replaced it with an image of a pretty flying fairy and a couple of extra flowers. When Roseanne found a new boyfriend, talk show host David Letterman of the LATE SHOW responded "Roseanne is in love and engaged. She's being very cautious this time. She just had the guy's name penciled on her butt" She also had a tattoo of a rose prominently displayed on her upper left breast. Her former husband Tom Arnold had a Star of David and a portrait of his wife tattooed to the left side of his chest. He later underwent several tattoo-removal procedures to rid himself of these tattooed tributes of his former wife.
