Sam
Sedan - Chevron Corporation's talking
automobile mascot featured in a series of TV
advertisements created to promote Techron® fuel
in 1995. The talking car commercials featured
three grinning vehicles brought to life by
computer animation. They included Sam Sedan (a
white sedan); Wendy Wagon (a green station
wagon) and Tony Turbo (a red sports car). Later
a number of new cars appeared including Trevor
Tow Truck, Taylor Taxi, Brandon Bumper, Hank Hot
Rod, Woody Wagon, Pete Pick Up, Sally School Bus
and Freddy 4- Wheeler (green and gold with
roof-mounted bike rack). Promotional versions of
these cars were offered for sale at Chevron
stations across the country in May 1996.
