- Fantastic automobile (designed by Reg Hill) featured on
the puppet series SUPERCAR/SYN/1961-62. Driven
by test pilot Mike Mercury (voice of Graydon
Gould), Supercar was a multipurpose vehicle
created by Professor Popkiss (voice of George
Murell) that traveled on land, through the air,
into the ocean depths and (on limited journeys)
into outer space. Super car was used to fight
crime for an International anti-crime
organization. The series was created by Gerry
and Sylvia Anderson.
