Look Magazine's Annual Television Awards, The - From 1950 through 1959, Look magazine presented awards for television excellence including the categories of Best Program of the Year, Most Appealing Personalities, and Best Comedian. The winners were determined from ballots cast by over 1500 network executives, directors, and TV columnists. In 1955, the balloting was limited to TV critics and editors.
