Sugar
Bear - The cool, muscular spokesbear for Post Sugar Crisp cereal, who
attributed his strength to eating a good breakfast which included his sponsor's
"vitamin-packed" product. He sang the jingle "Can't get enough of that Sugar
Crisp." Sugar Bear's role in the commercials was to vanquish some bad guy
causing trouble. Sugar wore a T-shirt over his brown body and spoke with a Bing
Crosby-like voice (provided by Sterling Holloway). In later years, Sugar Bear
even climbed the Great Wall of China to get his cereal, which is now called Post
Golden Crisp and made of wholesome, sweetened puffed wheat.
