Sea Hawk
- Schooner on the maritime adventure THE ADVENTURES OF THE
SEA HAWK/SYN/1958. The Sea Hawk was a floating research lab that cruised
the waters of the Caribbean. Commander John Pliny Hawk (John Howard), an
electronics whiz, captained the craft.
TRIVIA NOTE: In English history, the Sea
Hawks were a group of privateers who attacked Spanish ships (with the
consent of the Queen) in the days before the Spanish Armada attacked
England in 1588.
