The Nobile - Converted river barge on the fantasy series THE HIGHLANDER/SYN/1992-97.
Moored on the river Seine across from the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France,
(at Port de la Tournelle) the Nobile was the residence of Duncan MacLeod (Adrian
Paul), a wealthy antique dealer who in reality was a four-hundred-year-old
immortal being.
With the death of his mortal female companion, Tessa Noel
(Alexandra Vandernoot) MacLeod left France to again wander the globe. He later
returned to the barge to find a plump little Frenchman named Maurice (Michael
Modo) living on board. Maurice soon became MacLeod's friend and the barge's
caretaker. The barge was moved from its original mooring after the river
flooded.
