Lively Lady - Charter boat for hire on the
maritime adventure ASSIGNMENT UNDERWATER/SYN/1960-61. Sailing to such exotic
spots as Hawaii, Alaska, Korea and Cuba, the Lively Lady's crew included Bill
Greer (Bill Williams), a widower ex-marine turned professional diver and Patty
Greer (Diana Mountford), his eight-year-old daughter.
TRIVIA NOTE: The boat is also referred to as "The Lucky Lady" in
Harry and Wally's Favorite TV Shows (Prentice Hall Press, 1989). In
nautical history, the
Lively Lady was the name of a pioneering 36 foot ketch yacht owned by
Sir Alec Rose that accomplished a single-handed sailing around the globe.
