The Ellen "B" - Louisiana houseboat seen on the sitcom TAMMY/ABC/1965-66. Moored in the bayou of Ducheau County, the Ellen "B" is owned by Mordecai Tarleton (Denver Pyle), grandfather of 18-year-old Tammy Tarleton (Debbie Watson) who worked as a secretary for John Brent (Donald Woods), a wealthy plantation owner.

TRIVIA NOTE: In the movie Tammy Tell Me True (1961) Tammy (Sandra Dee) befriends Mrs. Annie Call (Beulah Bondi), a wealthy old women who like Tammy lived on the river in her youth. To escape her boring life, Mrs. Call secretly moves from her mansion into the Ellen B with Tammy and begins to live a quieter more satisfactory lifestyle of fishing for the catfish, and listening to the sounds of the river.
