 The Endeavor - 220-ton windjammer
on the maritime adventure series BARRIER REEF/NBC/1971-72. The Endeavor
was used by Captain Tedt King (Joe James) and his crew of marine
biologists to study the Great Barrier Reef in this 30-minute
live-action series from Australia.
The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world
(1,200 miles long) located in the Coral Sea off the coast of
Queensland, NE Australia.
