Mountain of My Misgiving was written by Dave, a graduate student and mountain climber who lured an infatuated Maggie O'Connell (Janine Turner) to Cicely, Alaska. Unfortunately, their love affair was cut short when he was found dead-frozen in a glacier while sleeping. Maggie stayed in Cicely and became a bush pilot.
