"Let's be careful out there" - Expression of concern directed to
fellow officers by Sergeant Phil Esterhaus (Michael Conrad) at the end of
each daily roll call on the police drama HILL STREET BLUES/NBC/1981-87.
When Michael Conrad died, his character's phrase "And, hey! Let's be
careful out there" was replaced by the more pessimistic "Let's do it to
them before they do it to us" spoken by Esterhaus' replacement Sergeant
Jablonski (Robert Prosky).
"Lucy, I'm Home!" - The familair cry of Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz) when he returned to his apartment at 623 East 68th Street in
New York City, NY
(Upper East side of Manhattan) on the classic situation comedy I LOVE LUCY/CBS/1951-57.
Ricky is a singer at the Tropicana Club. His wife, Lucy (Lucille Ball), a zany redhead, is a wanna-be actress/performer who has a penchant for getting into all sorts of trouble which makes Ricky shout "Mira que tiene cosa la mujer esta!" (roughly trnaslated means "What a thing this woman is!") |
