Stimpy the Cat - The dumb, portly, and overly optimistic cat partner of Ren, a lovable but neurotic asthma-hound Chihuahua partner on the cartoon adventures of THE REN & STIMPY SHOW aired on the cable network NICKELODEON in the 1990s. Once described as "Abbott & Costello meets Salvador Dali at Pee Wee Herman's Playhouse," this dysfunctional duo hosted cartoon episodes filled with explosions, nose-picking, barfing up, as well as sendups and parodies of such TV series as Star Trek. Their theme song was "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy." Ren & Stimpy were created by John Kricfalusi.
