Return
Overcoming his commitment phobia, Chandler
proposed to Monica (as their best friends
eavesdropped on the other side of the door). Of
course, Monica accepted and she and Chandler set
up housekeeping in Monica's rent-control
apartment with the purple walls (actually owned
by Monica's grandmother).
|
"Okay, okay
I'll do it. I thought, wait I can do this,
I thought that it mattered what I said or where I
said it. Then I realized the only thing that matters is that you,
that you make me happier than I ever thought I could be
and if you let me I will spend the rest of my life trying to make
you feel the same way. Monica, will you marry me?" |

Phoebe & Rachel Wish the Bings all the Best

Mr. & Mrs. Bing
All was happy in Monica and Chandler land until
they realized they couldn't have children. So,
one day they traveled to Ohio to interview a
woman named Erica who wanted to give her child
up to the Bings through an adoption agency.
Chandler plead Monica's case saying, "My wife's
an incredible woman. She's loving and devoted
and caring. And don't tell her I said this, but
the woman's always right... I love my wife more
than anything in this world. And I... it kills
me that I can't give her a baby... I really want
a kid. And when that day finally comes, I'll
learn how to be a good dad. But my wife...she's
already there. She's a mother...without a
baby...Please?" Erica agreed to give her baby to
the Bings when it was born. To everyone's
surprise, Erica gave birth to twins (Erica for
the birth mother & Jack for Monica's father).

Now the proud parents of their own family,
Monica and Chandler bought a house and after a
fond farewell to their old apartment, they
pushed the children in a stroller down the
apartment hallway to a new life in their new
home - closely followed by their friends, Ross,
Phoebe, Rachel, and Joey. (Joey later leaves for
Los Angeles to pursue his acting career).

Rachel: |
Do you guys
have to go to the new house right away, or
do you have some time? |
|
Monica: |
We got some
time. |
|
Rachel: |
Okay, shall we
get some coffee? |
|
Chandler: |
Sure! Where?
[Duh! The Perk, of course!] |
