Corny the Clown - The pseudonym of Bob Keeshan (a.k.a. "Captain Kangaroo") when he took the job as Corny the Clown the host of a noontime children's program called TIME FOR FUN broadcast on the ABC network in New York City in the early 1950s. Sitting on a park bench with a cocker spaniel by his side, Corny the Clown gently talked to the kids between cartoons.
