Little Clowns of Happytown - Set in Itty Bitty City (a.k.a. Happytown), the Saturday morning cartoon show LITTLE CLOWNS OF HAPPYTOWN/ABC/1987-88 told the tale of tiny baby-faced clowns whose mission in life  was to make people happy ("happiness is within you") and imbue positive mental attitudes wherever they went. Norman Cousins, a motivational writer and cancer survivor who credits positive thinking and laughter with his recovery, was the consultant on the program produced by ABC in association with Marvel Productions and Murakami-Wolf-Swenson Films.
