Secret Squadron Decoder  - On the children's live-action adventure CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT/CBS/1954-58, the Secret Squadron was designed to combat evil, especially the Red Menace so prevalent in the early 1950s. The "SS" members used special decoder badges to decipher messages. The badge setting B-6 read: Q=1, G=7, N=13, K=19, R=25, D=2, A=8, X=14, U=20, E=26, I=3, P=9, M=15, J=21, C=4, Z=10, W=16, T=22, H=5, O=11, L=17, S=23, B=6, Y=12, V=18, F=24.. Using the above code, the Secret Squadron members decoded such important messages as: 13-26-26-2 5-26-17-9 4-11-15-6 1-20-3-4-19 3-19-19-12  or  2-25-3-13-19-11-18-8-17-22-3-13-26.
