Lifetime "Name That Baby" Contest -  The Lifetime cable network comedy OH BABY/LIF/1998-2000 traced the hysterical journey of Tracy (Cynthia Stevenson), a unmarried software firm employee in her 30s (biological clock ticking away) who decided to have a baby via artificial insemination. When the blessed event finally arrived on March 13, 1999 on episode "Birth, Part II" the stork delivered a 7 and 1/2 pound bouncing baby boy. To help Tracy name the baby, Lifetime gave the TV viewers a chance to vote on the Internet. Those who logged onto their website at http://www.lifetimetv.com found the message "Name that Baby!...The stork delivered a boy, but the name tag was missing!. Help Tracy by voting for a name that will last a lifetime!" Fans of the show were given the choice between five names: Daniel, Charlie, Wyatt, Henry or Nicholas. A survey of the nearly twenty thousand who voted ranked the names as follows: Daniel (1), Nicholas (2), Wyatt (3), Charlie (4) and Henry (5). On an earlier poll when given a choice between a boy or a girl, the over twenty-two thousand voters wanted Tracy to have a boy--and so she did.
