Love Lucy Cookbook - Short but sweet compilation of TV trivia and
recipes based on the classic 1950s TV show I LOVE LUCY. Co-authored by Sara Key
and Vicki Wells, this 64 page cookbook published by Abbeyville Press, Inc.
(Hollywood Hotplate Series, 1943) is filled with black and white stills of
Lucille Ball as the zany redhead Lucy Ricardo.
Also found are trivia and ten of the funniest episodes from the series
including scenes from Lucy and Ethel in the chocolate factory, Lucy stomping
grapes, Lucy making pizza, Lucy changing her mind at dinner, Lucy ordering
escargots in France, her inebriated Vitameatavegemin commercial, and so on).
Chapter titles (based on the show's episodes) include Paris at Last; Lucy's Italian Movie; California Here We
Come; Visitors from Italy; Lucy Does a TV Commercial; Job Switching; and L.A. at
Last.
The recipes in the book include Ricky's Arroz con Pollo, Copacabana Coconut
