Mistress Spider Lady when weaving her black magic spells on the children's
puppet adventure THE WHISTLING WIZARD/CBS/1951-52. Both the Spider Lady and her
cohort the evil Kohlrabi threatened the security of a magical land wherein lived
Dooley, the Leprechaun, (a.k.a. "the Whistling Wizard").
TRIVIA NOTE: Elia Kazan was the name of America's
foremost director who worked on stage and screen during the 1940s and '50s.
