Shepherd guardian angel (voice of Steven Weber) on the 20-episode
half-hour cartoon ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN/SYN/1996.
Assisted by his
angelic Dachsund buddy, Itchy Itchiford (Dom DeLuise) Charlie B.
Barkin returned to Earth (San Francisco) to spread kindness and helped those in
need.
Other canines on the show included Carface (Ernest Borgnine),
Killer (Charles Nelson Reilly), Sasha (Sheena Easton) and
Annabelle/Belladonna (Bebe Neuwirth).
Produced in association with
Claster Television, the series is a spin-off of the MGM
animated movie All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989). Burt Reynolds
provided the voice of Charlie in the film.
