Spunky at Arnolds - Courtesy of Paramount PicturesSpunky - White cocker spaniel seen on the sitcom HAPPY DAYS/CBS/1974-84. Spunky, (a.k.a. "The Spunks") was the pet of the ultra-cool garage mechanic Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli (Henry Winkler). He appeared on episode No. 86 "Spunky Come Home" when Potsie  Weber (Anson Williams) and Ralph Malph (Donny Most) lose Fonzie's dog; and on episode No. 107 "Spunkless Spunky" when Dr. Joyce guest-starred to help Spunky overcome his doggie malaise. She recommended Spunky go to a doggie dude ranch to get some rest, relaxation and sunshine. But it turns out the Spunky was just missing his shaggy brown girlfriend Peaches. Peaches was owned by Eileen Wilson, the Fonz's attractive new next-door neighbor. Before Richie Cunningham (Ron Howard) went to college, he played catch with Spunky in the side yard  To celebrate Spunky's birthday, the Fonz made everyone wear pointy party hats as Al, the short order cook from Al's Drive-In Restaurant served Spunky a chopped liver birthday cake.
