Weiner Dog - Dachshund owned by ex-hockey player Norm Henderson (Norm MacDonald) on the sitcom NORM/ABC/1999-2001. Norm Henderson was banned from hockey for life for gambling and tax evasion and consequently had to serve 5 years of community service as a social worker or go to prison. Weiner Dog is his family pet that lives in apartment 6E at 228 West 29th Street. The funniest thing about Weiner Dog is hearing Norm say "Weiner Dog." On episode 12 "Norm Pimps Weiner Dog" Norm needs some cash to impress Shelly Killmartin (he wants to buy a Hank Aaron baseball card to give to her brother). To get the money he opens a breeding service using Weiner Dog. On episode #40 "Norm and Weiner Dog vs. Fatherhood" Norm's boss Mr. Denby takes Norm to court for custody of the puppies that his dog Fifi had with Wiener Dog.
