Ruff - Scruffy family pet (Airdale
mix) of Dennis Mitchell on the classic situation comedy DENNIS THE
MENACE/CBS/1959-1963.
Called Pluto in real life, Ruff was trained by Bob Blair and
owned by Frank Inn (of Benji fame).
In the spin-off theatrical movies Dennis the Menace (1993)
and its sequel
Dennis the Menace Strikes Again! (1998), a Briard
breed named Rosie played the role of Ruff.
