Claude, the maid and Mr. Drysdale - THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES
Claude with the maid and Mr. Drysdale

Claude was owned by Mrs. Margaret Drysdale (Harriet MacGibbon), the befuddle, hypochondriac wife of banker Milburn Drysdale (Raymond Bailey).

Mrs. Drysdale treated Claude as her own child. She was always pampering the dog with expensive food and beauty parlor treatments. She even pushed the dog about in a baby carriage.

Mrs. Drysdale once chastised her husband (who hated Claude) by saying, "Claude senses every nuance of your rejection. I will not have your sharp tongue undo three years of psychotherapy."

Claude's full name was Prince Claude of Burgundy. His girlfriend was Fifi.
