married John Thornton (Nick Mancuso).
Newly adopted by the Thornton's family, Buck
encounters friends and foe alike in the Yukon

and trained by Steve Woodley.
Born in Oregon, Kavic appeared in such TV shows
as SENTINEL, STARGATE, DEAD MAN'S GUN, FIRST
WAVE and SLEEPWALKERS.

TRIVIA NOTE:
The TV series was inspired by Jack London’s
novel "Call of the Wild" about Buck, a huge
four-year-old Scottish Shepherd-Saint Bernard
cross-breed who lived a life of ease at Judge
Miller's Santa Clara Valley estate until one
night he was stolen by Manuel, the estate's
Gardner and sold to the Alaska gold rush fields
as a pack animal.
