Wolf - Wild wolf on the western drama DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN/CBS/1993-98. Wolf accompanied mountain man Byron Sully (Joe Lando) as he wandered the rugged wilderness near Colorado Springs, Colorado in the 1860s. Wolf was played by Cody, a Malamute dog. According to his trainer Dennis Grisco, Cody is so tame that another dog, Mika, had to do his snarling scenes for him. Other dog stand-ins included King, Indy and Chaz who replaced Cody for the remainder of the series when he died in 1997. Cody's first film was the horror film Lost Boys (1987) about a group of teenage vampires.
