Wednesday Addams with her doll Marie AntoinetteMarie Antoinette - Wednesday Thursday Addams (Lisa Loring) the somber young child of eccentric millionaire Gomez (John Astin) and Morticia Addams (Carolyn Jones) was often seen playing with a headless doll named Marie Antoinette during episodes of THE ADDAMS FAMILY/ABC/1964-66. Marie Antoinette was named after the noblewoman who lost her head in the guillotine during the French Revolution. Reportedly, her famous last words were "Say, isn't that me over there?" Wednesday's mother, Morticia had a doll named Anne Boleyn when she was a child. TRIVIA NOTE: The real Marie Antoinette was beheaded on October 16, 1793; Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII of England was beheaded on May 19, 1536.
