Based on Steve Moncuse's cult-hit
comic book, the series starred
Inspector Gil (voice of John Ritter) as crime fighting carp
solving crimes in Fish City. His police badge was wriggling
starfish.
Others on the forces were Chief Abalone (Ed Asner), Detective Catfish,
Tadpole and Goldie, the secretary. His friends included Angel
and Pearl the waitress. The Villains of the piece were named
Calamari, Sharkster the lawyer, Mussels, and Marinara.
