Sea Monkeys - Three
microscopic sea monkeys (a species of brine shrimp) who were enlarged to human
size by a zany professor on the half-hour Saturday morning
series THE AMAZING LIVE SEA- MONKEYS/CBS/1992-93.
The pink-skinned sea monkeys, who behaved much like the Three
Stooges, included Aquarius (Sean Whalen) who can't keep a secret; Bill (Peter
Pitofsky) who is afraid of bunny rabbits; and Dave (Rob LaBelle) who is affected by
Polka Music.
The sea monkeys were guided through their new dry
land existence by The Professor, their mentor (played by Howie Mandel)
who housed them in his lab and helped them negotiate through
society.
