Robin's Nest - The fictional residence of novelist
Robin Masters on the detective drama MAGNUM. P.I./CBS/1980-88.

Entrance Gate to Robin Masters Estate
Robin's Nest was
owned by a wealthy, never seen mystery writer called Robin Masters. Gone most
of the time, his lush estate was run by stuffy British manservant Jonathan
Quayle Higgins III (John Hillerman), a former military intelligence officer
(suspected of being Robin Masters).
The security on the island estate was provided by two Doberman pinscher dogs
named Apollo and Zeus and by Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) a former Navy officer
and Vietnam veteran who provided security in return for an apartment on the
premises and the additional perk of driving about the island in one of Robin's
$50,000 Ferrari's.
When not at Robin's Nest, Magnum and
Higgins could be found at the King Kamehameha Beach Club (actually the Kahala
Hilton at 5000 Kahala Avenue in Honolulu, Hawaii-renamed the Kahala Mandarin
Oriental in the 1990s).

TRIVIA NOTE:
The house shown as Robin's Nest was actually a private residence located off the Kalanianaole Highway near Wiamanalo
Beach. Robin's Nest was also the name of a
wharfside nightspot on the adventure series ROBIN'S HOODS/SYN/1994.
