Edward Mulhare played the role of Captain Daniel Gregg, whose spirit haunted
his former home, a charming New England seaside cottage called Gull Cottage.
Then one day, an attractive widow named Mrs. Carolyn Muir (Hope Lange), with two
children moved into the cottage along with a housekeeper and a little dog.
The TV series was inspired by the classic movie The Ghost & Mrs. Muir
