Montecito Casino
The management at the Montecito Resort & Casino included:
- Josh Duhamel as Danny McCoy, an ex- US Marine and Chief of Surveillance and Security of the
Montecito (later appointed Head of Security).
- James Lesure as Mike Cannon, valet promoted to security. Mike has an
engineering degree from MIT. He's Danny's friend.
- Vanessa Marcil as Samantha 'Sam' Jane Marquez, Casino host responsible for
recruiting high-rollers for the Montecito. Sam is the former wife of
Casey Manning. She inherited the Montecito but had to sell it after a week
because of unpaid IRS back taxes.
- Molly Sims as Delinda Deline, Ed's daughter and Danny's girlfriend.
Delinda manages a number of areas in the Casino including the Mystique club,
Wolfgang restaurant, Opus bar, and the Bella Petto Pool Bar.
- James Caan as Ed Deline, Head of Security and later President of
Operations at the Montecito. Ed has ties to the CIA as a former Director
of Counter Intelligence. Delinda is his daughter. Cheryl Ladd plays this wife,
Jillian Deline who urged Ed to leave his job so they could enjoy life. Ed
finally leaves the casino in 2007.
- Nikki Cox as Mary Connell, Special Events Director. She is a close friend
to Danny. Mary had an on-and-off relationship with Danny but in the end, she
turned down his proposal of marriage. She left the casino in 2007 after the
death of her abusive father (Ed killed him first before May had the chance).
- Marsha Thomason as Nessa Holt (aka "The Ice Queen"), a former pit
boss. She was raised by Ed Deline and his wife, Jill. Nessa later
left to live with her real father and long-lost sister.
- Dean Cain as Casey Manning, owner of the Montecito and Sam's ex-husband
who bequeathed this casino to her when he was murdered (poisoned then killed
in a freak fishing accident involving a giant squid off the coast of New
Zealand).
- Lara Flynn Boyle as Monica Mancuso, the previous owner of the Montecito
who died when a gust of wind blew her off the roof of Montecito Hotel. Unliked by her employees, Monica's ashes were flushed down a toilet. Monica
had inherited the Montecito from her elderly billionaire husband.
- Tom Selleck as A. J. Cooper, a
multi-millionaire cattle rancher and the new owner of the Montecito who purchased
the Casino from Sam Marquez after her IRS troubles (he paid off back taxes).

TRIVIA NOTE: The interior and exterior shots
of the Montecito are based on the Mandalay Bay building in Las Vegas. The actual
set of Montecito is located at Culver Studios, in Culver City, California.. According to a December 2005 episode, the Montecito is located about 1.5
miles from the Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Country Club located on the Las
Vegas Strip in Las Vegas. Some of the first episodes were taped at the Monte
Carlo Resort and Casino.
