Shady Rest Hotel - Small rural hotel featured on
the situation comedy PETTICOAT JUNCTION/CBS/1963-70. The Shady Rest is located at the end of a railway line (C.F. & W.
Railroad) that runs from town of Hooterville to neighboring town of Pixley.

Kate Bradley (Bea Benaderet) owns the Shady Rest Hotel and runs her humble
establishment with the help of her slow moving brother Uncle Joe Carson
(Edgar Buchanan) and Kate's three beautiful eligible daughters Betty Jo
(Linda Kaye-Henning); Bobbie Jo (Pat Woodell/Lori Saunders) and Billie Jo (Jeannine
Riley/Gunilla Hutton/Meredith MacRae). The Shady Rest dog was called "Boy"
