Joe "Iron Jaw" Interleggi, was a 5-foot, four-inch, 123 pound vegetarian who was blessed with a powerful set of mandibles.

Joe opened bottles with his teeth and ate wood on guest spots of the NBC's THE TONIGHT SHOW with Steve Allen who referred to him as "The Human Termite."

Interleggi also appeared as a contestant on YOU BET YOUR LIFE/NBC/1950-61 where he lifted host Groucho Marx off the ground with his teeth. Marx was seated on a piano bench at the time.

One of the many stunts performed by Interleggi was pulling a car down the street - using only his teeth and a rope attached to the car. To make the stunt even more spectacular, the inside and the exterior of the car was loaded with passengers weighed up to 13,000 pounds.
