Pylons - Strange colored crystals seen
on the sci-fi series THE LAND OF THE LOST/NBC/1974-77 and the
revised version of the series LAND OF THE LOST/ABC/1991-94
The Pylons,
located in pyramid-like triangles, controlled doorways through time
(when moved in the proper sequence). It was through one of these
doorways that forest ranger Rick Marshall (Spencer Milligan) and his
children, Will (Wesley Eure) and Holly (Kathy Coleman) fell through
while rafting down the Colorado River.
Now trapped in a strange prehistoric landscape of dinosaurs and
monkey people ranger Rick sought to uncover the secret of the
crystal pylons and find a way home to his own time and dimension.
