Shon'Kar - The act of making a "blood oath," to avenge a wrong committed against a citizen of the Narn race on the sci-fi series BABYLON 5/SYN/1994-98. This ritualized revenge is sealed by blood, cutting a  scar across the forehead of the one who plans to carry out the Shon'Kar. Even if it takes, a lifetime, the person taking the oath promises to carry out and kill those who are the target of the revenge.
