Crime Story - the police drama CRIME
STORY/NBC/1986-88 featured an elite cop squad called the MCU (Major Crime unit)
that went after big scores and high ticket crooks in the city of Chicago (and
later Las Vegas)
Dennis Farina and Anthony Ray Denison
The series starred Dennis Farina, a real 18 year veteran of the police force
as Lt. Michael Torello and Anthony Ray Denison as
Ray Luca, as a rising young gangster who was the focus of the MCU.
Other officers assisting Lieutenant Torello included:
- Bill Smitrovich as Det. Danny Krychek
- Steve Ryan as Det. Nate Grossman
- Bill Campbell as Det. Joey Indelli
- Paul Butler as Det. Walter Clemmons
