Pepper Anderson, an attractive female undercover working for the criminal
conspiracy division of the LAPD.
Pepper was ably assisted by Sergeant Bill Crowley
(Earl Holliman), and Det. Pete Royster (Charles Dierkop), Det. Joe Styles (Ed
Bernard).
The series spun-off the episode "The Gamble" that aired on March 26, 1974
on the crime anthology POLICE STORY/NBC/1973-77/ABC/1988 with Angie Dickinson in
the role of policewoman Lisa Beaumont (renamed Pepper Anderson for the series)
