Racket Squad - The police drama RACKET
SQUAD/CBS/1951-53 starred Reed Hadley as Captain John Braddock who worked for
the racket squad at the San Francisco police department.

The series was based on actual case files from police departments around the
country that involved various confidence games pulled by professional
con-artists (sweepstake swindlers, crooked card games, money switches,
phony sales pitches, etc.)

associations, and similar sources all over the country. It is intended to
expose the confidence game, the carefully worked out frauds by which
confidence men take more money each year from the American public than all the
