Sharie Lewis and Charlie Horse

Charlie Horse appeared on the popular children's program with her own 30-minute series THE SHARI LEWIS SHOW/NBC/1960-63. His puppet friends are Lamb Chop, a shy, soft-spoken fleecy little lamb about 6-years-old with a penchant for mischief and wisecracks; and Hush Puppy, a sweet 7-year-old Mortimer Snerd-like country cousin of Lamb Chop.

Charlie Horse costarred on the LAMB CHOP'S' PLAY-ALONG from 1992-97. In 1998, Charlie Horse starred on the PBS TV series entitled THE CHARLIE HORSE MUSIC PIZZA that taught music appreciation to young kids at home.

According to show's character profiles, Charlie loves bugs, worms, snakes, horror stories and anything else that will gross out Shari and his two younger siblings Lamb Chop and Hush Puppy. Charlie loves to play his drums.

Along with Charlie Horse's friend, Lamb Chop the show featured Take Out, a skateboarding orangutan, Fingers, a raccoon who lives in the garbage bins; actor Dom DeLuise as "Cookie," the fun-loving chef, and Wezley Morris as Junior, the Music Pizza's musical assistant manager.
