The series starred Robert Loggia as Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat. a former circus aerialist/cat burglar turned professional bodyguard who met potential clients at this Frisco eatery to size up whether he would take up their cause.

Robert Carricart appeared as a Spanish gypsy named Pepe, the proprietor of the Casa Del Gato whose life Thomas once saved. Pepe wore a ring on his left earlobe
