Bram Shelley - Mechanical/bionic man living in huge spooky stone mansion located on a desolate island off the coast of Massachusetts on the sitcom HIGHCLIFFE MANOR/NBC/1979. Bram (played by Christian Marlowe) was created by a mad female scientist named Frances Kiskadden (Eugenie Ross-Leming) who worked for the Blacke Foundation, a scientific think tank. Frances built her attractive Frankenstein-like monster with metal struts from an Erector Set. Although endowed with good looks, Bram suffers in the memory department...which is almost nonexistent (Hmmm? Good looks and no brains...I don't think this was an accident). NOTE: The name Bram Shelley is a spoof of the classic horror fiction authors Bram Stoker (Dracula) and Mary Shelley (Frankenstein).
