Freddie Peterson - An aphorism for "sex" on the sitcom GOLDEN GIRLS/NBC/1985-92. When substitute teacher Dorothy Zbornak (Bea Arthur) had sex with Blanche Devereaux's visiting uncle Lucas (Leslie Nielsen), she remarked "It was so great, we named it Freddie Peterson." Dorothy married Lucas on the final episode of the series. Another veiled reference to "sex" occurred on the episode "The Society Party" 11-27-76) on the sitcom LAVERNE & SHIRLEY/ABC/1976-83 when Laverne De Fazio (Penny Marshall) implied that her roommate Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams) "Vo-dee-oh-do-dohed."
