Ilea - Forty-year-old spacecraft in permanent orbit over the
space city, Callisto on the British science fiction drama JUPITER
MOON/C4/1990 &1996. Set in the year 2050 amongst the new
industrial/scientific settlements of the planet Jupiter, the Ilea is the
home of Columbus College (part of the University of Space) and a base of
operations used to ferry supplies between Jupiter's sixteen moons. The
Ilea also facilitates the construction of the Daedalus 10 Project, a
mission developed to take man into another solar system.
Ship's crew
members included Phil Dilmott as First Officer Finbow Lewis; Andy
Rashleigh as Lt. Eliot George Creasy; Richard Derrington as Chief
Scientific Officer Charles Brelan; and Dominic Arnold as Medical Officer
Piers Gilpin.
