Atom Squad, The - Secret government organization on the espionage adventure THE ATOM SQUAD/NBC/1953-54. Based in a hidden headquarters in Manhattan, the Atom Squad was established to safeguard America's top secret nuclear plans/weapons from falling into the hands of the Communist Menace. Its members were Steve Elliott (Bob Hastings), the team's leader; and his assistants played by Bram Nossem and Bob Courtleigh. During the course of the series they prevented the destruction of Washington, DC, the Pentagon, and the abduction of US sailing vessels.
